So, let's go over some simple tips on how you can build an effective beauty routine...

Step #1 Identify your Skin Type

There are 5 skin types: normal, oily, dry, combination, and sensitive skin. Understanding the nature of your skin will help you craft your beauty routine.

Step #2 Cleanse

The job of a cleanser is to drive out all that gunk, debris, oil, and product from your skin.  It also refreshes your skin and provides a clean base for other products.

Step #3 Tone

The purpose of a toner is to help restore your skin's pH after cleansing. Toners are also crucial for their skin prepping and nutrient-absorbing benefits.

Step #4 Moisturize

Everyone needs a moisturizer. However, the texture of the formulation will depend on your skin type—e.g., dry skin calls for rich formula, while oily needs a water-based option.

Step #5 Sun-protect

A  broad-spectrum SPF of 30 or above will ward off UVA, UVB, and HEV (emitted by electronic devices) rays. Wear it 20 minutes before heading out and reapply after every 2 hours.

Build on

You can always layer on more products for topical concerns as you become more confident with your beauty regimen. But remember, consistency and patience are the keys to healthy skin!
