Embrace your feelings

When you're feeling down, it's easy to let your emotions control you.  It's important to remember that your feelings are just feelings and they don't mean anything.

Be present with your thoughts

Being mindful means you're fully present in the moment.  If you're thinking about the past or the future, you're not being mindful.

Let go of what you think you should do

When you're trying to be mindful, it's easy to get caught up in your thoughts.  It's important that you let go of that and instead focus on the present.

Keep your environment calm

When you're feeling stressed out, you're more likely to make bad decisions.  That's why it's important to keep your environment as calm as possible.

Be aware of your emotions

The best way to stay mindful is to notice and understand what you're feeling.  By doing so, you'll be able to control your emotions and avoid making bad decisions.
