You can't always control your circumstances, but that doesn't mean you have to let them control you.  Learn to accept the ups and downs of life as they come.

Be mindful of your thoughts

When you're in a bad mood, you tend to focus on negative thoughts. In those circumstances, make it a habit to be mindful of your thoughts and focus on the present moment.

Find something that brings you joy

When you find something that makes you happy, you can use that to find a way to keep your mind off your stressors.

Take a break from technology

If you're constantly checking your phone, you'll have a hard time connecting to the moment.  Try to turn off your devices at least once per day for a few minutes.
